History: grew up in Rukongai as a child thief. Was hired by older children to beat up enemies for very little money. Honestly hated this life. She was feared, which she always shows as her strength, but is truly what brought her into deep depression by the time she turned 13. At that point, she was hired to destroy Rukia and Renji and broke down inside, running away. She came to find, ever so slowly, that she needed to protect innocent lives to make up for the ones she’d killed. She became a Shinigami in Squad 10, under new captain, Toshiro Hitsuguya, who looked her age and was a fun person to be around. She rose to become his third seat and aimed to catch up to him and fight next to him as equals one day.

Bankai name: Nokogiri Honookimaru (translation: Sawing Circle of Crude Flame)
Bankai appearance: red and blue flames; a rectangle of fire, which extends and contracts whenever necessary at lightning-fast speed. Nokogiri Honookimaru takes the shape of an axe-like sword when needed in single combat. gives Genachi completely red hair and makes her pupils and irises disappear, her vision unaffected.
Bankai special ability: Can heal serious wounds and grows in power/shrinks in size with hightened emotion.
